Barbara Midlikoski

Desert Explorer and friend, Barbara Midlikoski passed away in early June. She had recently been diagnosed with an aggressive cancer and she passed away at home under hospice care. Barbara was a long-time DE member and Museum volunteer. She was an avid hiker and photographer and was also very active with Death Valley 49ers. She and her husband, Ron, moved to Vail, Arizona several years ago, but continued to attend the annual DE Rendezvous whenever they could. Barbara also put together several fantastic trips to the China Lake petroglyphs from the Maturango Museum in Ridgecrest and was very active in the Mojave River Valley Museum when she lived in the area. We miss you Barbara.
