Couple days snooping southwest Nevada earlier this month:
6/2/26 Alamo Road in DWR, the 80 mile dirt one going up west side, all the way north to Alamo, Nevada, adjacent to the USAF Restricted Ranges. Still Closed at Hidden Forest, reports say reconstruction of road should be complete soon.
6/3/26 Delamar Ghost Town
6/3-4/2026 Overnight camping at Mt. Irish petroglyph site, near Hiko, Nevada and WF "Pahranagat Man" found only within 30 miles of this area.
6/4-5/2026 Overnight in Ely, Hotel Nevada. Next day to summit of Mt. Washington, 11k and change, just a couple miles south of 13k Mt. Wheeler, within Great Basin National Park. Hard to believe this decent, not too technical, unadvertised road makes it all the way to the top!
