2019 - Trip Report - Daggett Days

Daggett Days

By: Claudia Heller

Good to see the Daggett Historical Museum open and thriving! On April 6, Santa Fe Street was lined with spectators, there to witness the Daggett Days Parade. Guitar strumming locals, out-of-town spectators and supporters from near and far more than doubled the town’s population for a day.  Food booths and other vendors added to the fanfare.

The museum, which had been burglarized and practically decimated years before, was open and lived up to its former glory through the efforts of dedicated volunteers.  It is normally open every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. but as the volunteer base grows, longer hours are anticipated.
