White Mountains and Bristlecone Pines

Depart from Big Pine meetup, pavement run to Wyman Canyon, then up the “back way” to the ridge of the White Mountains and the Bristlecone Pines. Camp overnight and relax next day creekside in Cottonwood Basin. Return to Bishop area down Silver Creek Canyon to Laws. Possible Chalfant Valley loop of rock art sites depending on local temps. 4WD high clearance vehicle and GMRS or CB radios required. Expect HOT daytime temps 90-100° in the low altitudes and coolish 40-50° nights in the high altitudes. Email me for additional info. This email address is being protected from spambots.
